the online presence of Sam Wass.A quasi-interesting marketing consultant based in the UK.
I help businesses make smarter decisions to build a reliable pipeline, generate revenue, and create momentum that lasts.
The Problem
Your marketing feels disconnected from sales. You're busy, your team is stretched, and you need more of the right leads, faster.✓ Unclear ROI
✓ Stalled Pipeline
✓ Random Acts of Marketing
My Approach
No fluff, no endless decks. We diagnose the bottleneck, create a clear plan, and execute. Decisions are made and work gets shipped.1) Diagnose: a short, sharp review to find the fastest path to revenue.2) Plan: a simple, one-page strategy focused on what works.3) Execute: hands-on support to get it done and build momentum.
The 'Generalist' Advantage
I direct the strategy and bring in the right experts (writers, designers, PPC pros) only when needed. You get a single point of contact and better results, without the overhead.
I've been client-side, agency-side, and built my own brand from scratch. I know the theory, but I prefer what works in practice. My experience is your shortcut.

Sam Wass
With a career spanning more than 25 years, Sam has operated at the intersection of marketing and procurement from every angle - as both client and agency, in the public and private sectors.
He is a testament to poacher turned gamekeeper, having built an online food business from scratch and successfully exiting it based almost entirely on brand strategy. His experience also includes shaping perceptions through pivotal place marketing campaigns for Manchester and North East England, alongside producing a significant number of live events.
Despite a somewhat weird geordie-mancunian hybrid accent, he was a familiar voice on TV as a regular contributor to the BBC's Victoria Derbyshire show.
Other highlights would include;
Made a TV ad with Ridley Scott
Working with Peter Saville
Voted on the Brit Awards Academy
Got a tram stop renamed
Was interviewed by the New York Times
Helped launch Premier League Darts in the UK
Invented the microphone ball (kind of)
Did a ‘meat’ pun seen by over a million people
Booked an unknown comedian called Peter Kay
Let me know what your marketing niggle is, and I'll see if I can help
